Idle prattle
Oct. 23rd, 2004 01:40 pmI haven't had a whole lot of interesting stuff going on as of late. Mostly just the same old daily grind of school related things. Although, some might say that a lack of interesting things is good as interesting tends to entail the unexpected and often the unwanted. I believe there exists an irish curse that goes, "may you lead an interesting life", or something to that affect. And if I spelled that wrong, I don't care.
I kind of feel like going to see a movie this week or the next, but I don't really have anyone to go with. Half the fun of going to a movie is having someone to go with and talk about it afterwards. Having someone to go with would give me just the little push I need to actually go see something. Although, the stuff in the theaters right now may not be quite good enough to really get me out there. Now, when the Incredibles come out, that may be enough, but even so, it would be nice to have someone to go with. Although, some of the movies coming out in the next month or two may be good enough to make me want to go regardless. That Lemony Snicket movie with Jim Carrey looks pretty good, and The Phantom of the Opera has me rather excited for some reason I'm not entirely sure of. I'd rather like to see I Heart Huckabees, but nowhere near is playing it. Of course, I should actually be doing a bit of homework right now, but I'm too lonely to care. Okay, that's a lie. I'm lonely, but it's manageable for the time being. I'm just slacking over the homework. I shouldn't have to do stuff on saturday.
