Wow, I sure am sore today. Well, not so much really sore as in sore in places I really never get sore. Odd places too. Instead of young life last night, we all met up in the parking lot then went down to one of the large open grass areas between some of the college buildings to play a few games of capture the flag (played with nifty glow sticks so we could see them). There was a nice little open theater thing in the center that acted as part of the neutral area. Big area though. And lots and lots of running. I think I played for about an hour before leaving, but man, it's made me sore in the weirdest places. Some in my shoulder area below my neck, and the worst is my hip joints. I don't really run, so I can see that it might do something like this, but I still find it odd that it would hurt there. I'm pleased to say that I'm pretty fast, even if I can't run for extended periods of time. Although, I did get caught once or twice. I tend to panic when I'm running too fast and think I'm going to trip and go face first into the ground or the sidewalk, so I slow down a little. Which is how I got caught the first time. I need to learn to run fast and slow down by doing a tuck and roll. That would be cool.

Okay, so I found this while surfing the forums over at ocremix and thought it was just great. It was a tad mean, but it got the point across I think. Plus, the mental image from the last line just kills me. This is most definitely not for those p.c. of heart.

So I was walking to class with a classmate, and we run into this parade. Everybody had a John Kerry 2004 sign and a No on 6 sign.

"Man, it's impossible to cross campus without running into these people," said my friend.

One of the girls carrying the sign said (something to this extent) "Yeah, well if you don't like it here, go fight in the war you love so much! Then you'll really be showing your support for the war!"

Now this is the best part; this girl was probably 7 months into a pregnancy.

"You're pro-choice right? Why don't you have an abortion to show how much you support a woman's right to choose?"

Oh buddy, I know the logic was flawed, but their chanting just stopped, resulting in a dead, stunned silence. The girl looked like she was going to cry/vomit.

You don't know funny until you've seen 20 something liberals chasing two conservatives screaming at the top of their lungs the entire time. I was late to class, but oh man, it was worth it.

This is just super keen. And I absolutely love these shirts. If I had money, I'd so buy a few.

Me!
