Baby blues

There's something peculiar and of interest in people with bright blue eyes I've noticed of late. Not just blue eyes mind you, but they're the most common of the uncommon. I've been watching people with the light, bright blue eyes and have come to the conclusion that such eyes excude one of two senses. They are innocence and creepiness, although they are almost always mutually exclusive. I watch people with light blue eyes, and most often, even if they may not be so, they have a look of the innocent, which is quite intriguing. Of course, those who are clearly not so, especially if they're older, it tends to make them look a tad creepy and intense. It's all very interesting to me.

Okay, so I was standing at the crosswalk waiting for the walk signal when I saw a sign on the post I can honestly say I've never noticed before. It's possible that it's new, but whatever. Anyway, it said, and I quote, "Use Ped Signal", and then it showed a stick man bent over and straddling two circles. Now, I know it was supposed to be a bike rider that's supposed to use the pedestrian signal, but it absolutely killed me. If more people hadn't been around, I so would have cracked up so loud. Not only did the guy look so very wrong, but how often do you get to see the phrase, "use ped signal"?

"Commisioner! The baby gang is back in town! They're creating havoc!"
"Quick, to the ped signal!"

*snickers*
