In regards to my previous gleefulness, I got a yes to coffee from Maria today. I got out of lab a good hour and a half before she was to be in the calc lab, so went to the UC Taco Bell for lunch, listened to some music, and read a few psalms. Then I went a half hour early and sat in the seat next to her desk, just so I could be sure to have it. She came in, and for like the next half hour talked with some chem people, but after that, I got her to myself for like a whole hour, which was very keen. I was pretty nervous about asking her if she had gotten my email about coffee, but she ended up bringing it up first, and said she'd like to. I then said that whenever she had free time would be good, and we both laughed and laughed. Because, of course, she has none at all. She said it probably won't happen until after thanksgiving, and I really don't have a problem with that. I told her I wasn't in a hurry. Frankly, I'm just so excited she wants to that I don't care as much about the actual doing so. And yes, I know it's just coffee, but it's something. And a heck of a lot better than say, nothing. Glee!
