I hurt my arm last night...sort of. I was reading and realized that my arm was hurting, specifically the muscles in the upper part of it that help out with raising the arm and stretching for things and whatnot. Through further investigation, i.e. poking at various muscles in my neck and back to see which ones make me want to scream when poked, I've discovered it is probably due to a bunch of muscles in my back and should being tight and knotted. Not too much of a clue why, but at least I know. It's weird having limited use of my dominant arm. It feels ever so slightly out of socket or something, but mostly it just hurts when I try to lift it and such.
Ironically, at the time of the discovery, I had been reading about the time in the Bible when God touched Jacob's thigh and gave him a limp. It was a chapter from Nee on God breaking us down so that we submit more freely to God. I find it infinitely amusing, though my arm still hurts.
