Net net net net.... (to the tune of the spam song)

MY router went kablooey yesterday. It was horrible. I was without net for hours...until we went and bought a new one. Anyway, what happened was that they were putting in a more powerful...thingy on the power lines outside our house so that my dad's shop could get the power he needs for his machinery. They cut the power maybe a half hour, then turned it back on. I discovered later that my router was off, and would no longer turn on. I tried to see if maybe the powercord wasn't working, but I think it was the router. Of course, then I stupidly found another power cord and tried plugging it in, not realizing it wasn't the 5.5 volts but 12 volts. It started to smell of burnt electronics after that. But I have a new one now, and everything seems to be fine.
