Blech

Been feeling a bit off of late. I've an appointment with my doc tomorrow to see what's up with my energy levels and the fact that my anti-depressants seem to have stopped working as well. I may just have to up my dosage again, but we'll see. I'm sure it's not helping that I keep going to bed late. Me no function sleep well without.

I did learn two quite interesting things today while checking out slashdot. First, mpg stats for cars really need to be changed to gallons per x miles, like pretty much the rest of the world does. It seems that mpg is not a straight line in terms of economy of usage, and quickly becomes one of diminishing returns. So going from 10 to 20 mpg gives way more of a difference than say 30 to 55 mpg. I'm also annoyed that my 95 corolla still gets better gas mileage than half the cars coming out this year. I'm averaging around 29-30 mpg here, and it's 15 years old!

Also, I discovered why it's not really as creepy as I thought that women used to be married off as soon as they got their period. It turns out that around 1840 on, the age of menstruation has been dropping quite a bit. Prior to 1840, the average age was 16-17. Weird, no?

Me!
