I just had a most intriguing, albeit amusing, epiphany strike me as I was considering the condition of mankind and how to best explain how we are responsible from even birth for our sins. Then it hit me; we are exactly in the same situation as Mickey was as the sorcerer's apprentice. God is the sorcerer who left us with a simple task, and only made one thing off-limits. It's so perfect too, because the animated mops are exactly like sin. Once it's been done, there's no undoing them, and they just keep getting worse and growing in number. And as was the case with Mickey, there comes a time when the master returns and it is only he whom can stop the craziness, not mention it is also when comes the accounting for misdeeds. It's not 100% perfect as an anology, but it sure gives a great picture of what our state really is.

Well, harmless pranks are fun, anyway. And that's just what I and two of my roommates have just done to a third. On something of a whim, we took several large newspapers and completely covered this other roomy's room. First the floors were papered, then we got more creative... I started shoving crumpled paper into random items and pieces of clothing. He'll be finding newspaper in places for months, if not years. One of my roomies put crumpled paper underneath his bed's cover sheet, put the covers back on, then we covered the covers in paper. He also took the pillows out of their cases and filled the cases with newspaper. For a coup de gras, we wallpapered most all of his walls, making sure to tape each sheet individually so they cannot be torn down all at once. We also severely taped up a few sheets; each one will take forever to remove. Finally, we put a long line of tape from the top crack of his door, down to the floor, around the corner, out the front door, across the porch, and halfway down the walk. Something for our roommate to follow, if you will. Heh heh heh.

Me!
