I've been on a new mood stabilizer for almost a month now, and results are extremely promising. I have not gained a bunch of weight, which is a load off of my mind...and body. Neither has it constipated me, which is another load off. So it looks like I am indeed one of the intended targets for this particular med, especially the part where it boosts the antidepressants I'm on, so that's good.
I'm currently listening to a bunch of music from the Ulfuls, which I highly recommend to everyone. Ashita ga aru sa is particularly fun to listen to/watch, particularly if you can find a video with translations. The group feels a lot like old school rock and roll, and I've thus far seen songs imitating the Beatles, The Monkeys/Beach Boys, Village People, Elvis, and even some fun disco. Tsugihagi Boogi Woogi is also a really fun song.
I have been eagerly awaiting some new RAM I ordered for my laptop. I will be so happy to have my laptop back. It's been nice using my dad's laptop due to it being newer and faster, and thus able to handle games mine can't, but I still miss my lappy. For one, the speakers are, hands down, way better. I will miss the number pad, but I won't miss the slightly scrunched keyboard. Mine has a real-size keyboard, and it makes a huge difference, particularly when it comes to things like the backspace key. It doesn't hurt any that I have all of my sites favorited on mine. I've really missed being able to use linux's command line for things. So yeah, awaiting my RAM so I can return to a working laptop all my own.
Lastly, I'm really starting to feel that it's almost time to return to Redding. I have no idea how, but if God wants me there, he'll provide something. At the very least, it'll be nice to have access to my books and comics again. I've been feeling that I'm to return somewhere around my birthday in July, which is actually right around the same time that I left last year.
