Hooray for vague subject lines.

Anyhoo, my last few days have been pretty darn good. Christmas eve we all watched The Princess Diaries 2, which I must admit was good (plus, Anne Hathaway is a serious hotty), then I watched Hero, which was slow but good fun. I've always disliked the Crouching Tiger style of fighting and the movie itself, but I think Hero did the same type of fighting but a bit better. More actual fighting than leaping and such I suppose. Plus, more killing. And there's nothing more freaking cool than to watch people take on a million arrows and win.

But as I wa saying, the eve was good, and Joel came over and was later followed by his mom. We all talked till late then went to bed.

Christmas was fun. We all got a lot of stuff, which was surprising to me, but we did get each other a lot of smaller things with a few big things. I got Buffy Season Seven, a few books, Paper Mario for Gamecube, a bunch of sweets, a nifty smelling candle, a bunch of clothes (I'm not sure how fond I am of the Pacsun and Billabong logos, but the clothes are nice), and about $125 worth of gift cards to Borders. I'm also told that I'm getting two more months paid for City of Heroes and that they ordered the cd set of Keith Green's music, but the Christian Bookstore doesn't have them in yet. Also keen, yesterday my grandma gave me a card and a check for $100.

Now I just have to figure out if the bank will cash it or not. Apparently banks don't like to cash checks if you don't have at least that much in your account already, which I think is both weird and a big load of crap, but it does explain why they've kept giving me grief every time in the past. I just wish someone at the bank had actually told me this. They just hem and haw and end up cashing my checks I get after like 10 minutes of waiting, but not once to they say why. At least my dad is here to tell me such things. Stupid bank people.

More to come soon.

Me!
