So it turns out Borders won't take back my book after all. Someone misheard me and thought I just meant a special ordered book, where it's considered an out of print book. So basically, I'm out $30 and have a book that's missing an important part. Le sigh. They said I should try selling it to one of the used bookstores in town, but that seems sort of underhanded to me. If a store will buy it knowing it's defective, that I wouldn't have a problem with, but otherwise, it's just not something I could do in good conscience. Now what?
