Wow, that was easy. I love my college. They're in need of people, and apparently I'm a person, so the guy hired me on the spot. Said I could start today or tomorrow. I went with tomorrow. It's nice working with the school sometimes. All I had to do was print off an app, which basically had my name, contact info, and all the hours I was available. Also, my lack of previous experience, but it doesn't matter in this case. Guy said I was lucky not to have had anything before now. So sweet. And even better, the dress code is pretty nice. Just a dining services shirt and hat, which he said he'd give me a free one if I didn't mind wearing a previously worn one. I hope I don't mind come tomorrow. My hours are to be 10:30-8 thursday, friday, saturday, with like an hour break between, and 4:30-8 on sunday. I had said I was looking for like 15-20 hours, so he said if it's too much to tell him. He seems like a pretty cool guy overall. Now I just have to find out where the heck ma mere put my soc. sec. card so I can go down to human resources and fill out some forms. An I9 and something else. I hope they're not too terribly bad.
