Or rules, I should say, and so shall. In fact, I just did. Anyway, my work is rather interesting in one aspect, and that is the rules. The thing is, they don't actually tell you much when you get the job. I'm finishing up my third week here, and I'm pretty sure I still don't know all the rules. It's one of those things where they tell you about it if they catch you breaking one. So I could be doing things wrong left and right, and as long as no one sees, I may never know any better. Even more interesting is that some of the rules tend to be more or less important depending on the particular in charge person. Some seem to be more anal than others about particular things, like how often one calibrates the thermometers, or how often one should change gloves.
Wow, I'm even boring myself here. Carry on.
On one last note, I need to start memorizing more songs and musicals for the times at work when no one is coming in. I keep singing parts of various songs, but I never really know the whole thing. I end up singing Edelweiss from the Sound of Music over and over. At least it's a pretty song.
