I'll admit, I never really got into Firefly. I don't think I saw more than the first episode they aired. Honestly, I'm not a fan of pretty much any westerns, so even though it was space-themed as well, it just didn't click with me much. I'm more of a fan of those sterile star trek ships. I'd love to live on Voyager... Anyhoo, the previews for the movie thrilled me, so I went and saw it. I really liked it. Whedon always knows how to write. I loved the action scenes, I loved one liners, and I loved the relationships. Guy knows how to tug on the ol' heart strings too.
I think I'll go watch the show now, though I must admit, seeing the ending of the show, as it were, before the beginning is going to definitely give the viewing experience something of a twist. I'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing, but it's definitely a thing.
