Not that I get into Halloween much, but this year it just didn't feel like Halloween here. For one thing, it was warm, like almost 50 degrees at one point. It's been consistently freezing for the last ten years or so, often with a sudden blizzard involved. Plus, there just weren't that many people dressed up on campus that I saw. Though someone did say that there were a lot more on the other side of campus. And then last night, we got like two trick or treaters. It's all so terribly sad. On the plus side, now I can look forward to Thanksgiving. Stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, the works, I love it all. I bet they already have decorations up in the stores.
