The French test was about the size of a normal test today, which means that I have no real idea how I did. Those things are always so hit or miss with me for some reason. Probably the whole lack of studying thing... I'm really going to miss some of the people in my french class next semester. I wish they were taking it. I really rather liked Kiyomi and Laura, though I suppose I'll still be seeing Laura now and again.
Anyhoo, the Japanese test was a complete snap. We literally only had to write five sentences about ourselves. If we wrote more, she'll just take the most complete five. Took all of fifteen minutes, and that was with everyone talking for like five. I'm glad so many people are going to continue on to next semester.
Now all I have left is a four page-ish minimum paper for fairy tales due thursday mid-morning. Shouldn't be too hard to write. It's going to be complete bs, but it'll be okay. For all that I love literature, the reading of, in of itself, I really find myself despising literature as a study. All of the trying to disect works, even when it's often simply reading into a tale whatever people feel like reading into it, it really detracts from the enjoyment of the reading for me. I like discussing reading, sure, but when the "in depth" stuff starts poking up, a lot of it is just complete and utter bs. I always feel so dirty for following suit in order to write a paper. I just bs my way with the papers, and do quite well, which just makes me feel bad. The only papers I've ever enjoyed writing in the history of my college and high school education have been the creative writing ones. At least in those ones I'm telling a fun story.
