It's amazing what a change a day can make. Only yesterday or so, it was 60 degrees. Today, 25 degrees. Tonight, a bit colder and it started snowing. We already have an inch, maybe two. It's very dry snow too, and hella slick to drive on. I had to drive home from my christian group tonight, and I never once left first gear. I almost got into an accident on the way out of the parking lot too, as the exit is on a rather sharp incline and no amount of gentle breaking would even slow me down. A jeep and I almost collided as I kept sliding out onto the road, but I hit my horn and he had enough maneuverability to move out of my way. Thank you God for that one. There was only ice in a few places, but the snow was dry enough and thick enough to act nearly identically. I was so glad to get home in one piece. I like snow, but I really hate driving on it. I've been in one of the more worse snow/blizzard related accidents one can get into before, years ago, and I'm not keen on ever experiencing even a portion of that again.
