Dude, I know that money is good and all, but honestly, must you go to commercial every freaking time a person sings? If it's a matter of prepping for the next singer, one or two is fine, but a full commercial break every time?! Freaking outrageous! It's really turning me off from watching this show. I swear, it feels like I'm watching a commercial show wherein they occasionally show some people singing. You know though, from a purely monetary point of view, this show has got to be a massive cash cow. I mean, sure, you have to pay for the room and board for the peeps, and maybe set up a new set every year, but aside from that, I'm sure they're raking in the cash. They even get the idol potentials to make commercials for them. And after they all get signed, the music companies get to rake it in on cd sales too. Suddenly I want to make my own entertainment show that's mostly commercials.
