Slashdot posted this article about the new Windows Media Player 11. Basically, it's going to take away every single right you have to your own music, then rape you. Maybe not in that order. I like the ease of use of Windows well enough, but dang, every new and improved creation from microsoft makes me want to run screaming for the hills to find the nearest linux distro. Sure, linux is complicated, has many elitist bastards who'd rather look down on you than help, and half of the commonly used hardware products have slapdash and random software for, but at least I could whatever I want with my own music...assuming the speakers work. Wow, I just managed a two for one. Nice.
