Fantastic Four and Nancy Drew

This has been a good weekend for movies it would seem. I have to say that I quite liked both movies, though FF comes with a disclaimer that it would have been much more enjoyable had I not been a comic book fan. I wasn't exactly pleased at their take on the Silver Surfer, especially not on the choice to dub his voice with Laurence Fishburne. I just kept hearing Morpheus and it really took me out of the movie. Otherwise it was pretty good entertainment. As for Nancy Drew, I really liked it. I especially liked that it was clean without being naive, stupid, any such thing. I'm also glad I never read Nancy Drew so I wasn't in any way offended by any of the characterizations. Anyway, yeah, fun.
