Ugh. Okay, so tonight really sucked. I got a new job working at the christian bookstore in the mall here...or so I thought. Right after quitting my last job, I went in, and they said that they had scheduled me for tonight. What they failed to mention was that it was just a one time job helping with their annual stocking. Four hours. That's all I got. I had to fill out all the normal paperwork and everything, AND NO ONE TOLD ME IT WAS A ONE-SHOT! I only found out at the very end of the night too. Manager said she'd call when the check came in. I walked out of there completely stunned. I was so happy to have a job at a nice place and everything, suddenly to have it all ripped away. I...just...ugh.
