kryptonitemonkey | Movie Good! My grammar speaking, not so much!

I just got back from watching that new Jackie Chan/ Jet Li movie, Forbidden Kingdom, and I have to say that it was a pretty darn good movie. It told a good story, and I loved how much they said sometimes without ever actually speaking. They would have these moments where the characters are just looking at each other, not saying a word, and their eyes say so much more and so much more poignantly than words ever could. I loved that. It also ended rather satisfyingly too, so kudos all around. There was one fight scene near the second quarter of the film where Jet and Jackie are sparring (they show a few clips of it in the previews), where it felt like the fight was going on just a tad too long, more for the sake of fan service than anything else. Other than that, it was quite excellent.
