Slashdot just posted about this article regarding the advancement in mechanical arms. I am amused that they chose to call the arm the "Luke". But seeing it in action, as used by a man who had lost his arm, or so it looked, all I could keep thinking about was, could someone who hadn't lost a limb use it? Watching it, it occurs to me how much closer it is to creating Dr. Octopus' arms. How cool would that be?
