Why is it that one's own mistakes so often end up hurting other people? I have a hard enough time handling my personal hardships that result from my mistakes, but things are so very much harder when they end up harming others around me. It's harder to forgive myself for causing harm to another, even if he or she forgives me. It's one of those things that makes me never want to do anything. I have enough difficulty acting when I fear screwing myself over, but thinking of doing that to my friends... Ugh. Life is hard.
