that meekness is not what most people think it is? For some reason, most people think of meekness as a synonym for shyness, like a mouse or something. But the word actually has the meaning of restrained power. The word in the greek had the meaning of something akin to a powerful war horse under control. A horse like that is one that is completely under the command of its rider, but at an instant could burst forth, explode almost. Brings new meaning to blessed are the meek, doesn't it.
