I hurt my foot this past weekend. I tend to have really random and pointless injuries. It's never a cool story, like I rescued someone from a falling thing, or a crazed maniac; it's always, "so I was going down some stairs and tripped", or "so I was walking and twisted my ankle". Mine was the first one. Going down the stairs, missed some footing, and landed and rolled on my big toe. You really don't realize how important the ball of the foot and the big toe are until it suddenly hurts to use them. I'm so grateful it was my right foot, though. My gas pedal requires a feather touch. Had it been my shifting foot, on the other hand...
The most frustrating part of injuring my foot is the fact that I can't exercise until it heals, and this I don't need. I need to lost weight as it is, and a week or so without being able to even go for a walk, well that's a pain in the, uh, foot.
