Wrong timing

It's funny how often the things I want to say, or suddenly think of, always seem to come at a time when I can't possibly do anything about it, like write it down. Come to think of it, I think a lot of it tends to happen when I'm driving. Even with music, driving seems to be a time of introspection and a time to think, so I guess that would make sense. I suppose I could try to record my thoughts on my phone by voice when driving, but I can barely answer it without swerving my car, so it's probably best not to try such a thing.

But it is funny how many times I think of something I want to do, or should do, but at a time when I can't do so. I can't tell you how many times I've thought of the need to change my oil or something car related while driving or when in bed, but by the time I can actually do so, I've completely forgotten to do so. Irony has always amused me so.

THIS HAPPENS TO ME ALL THE TIME!!! xD i swear!!! i remember EVERYTHING at the most inconvenient times! in fact, this entry has reminded me that i'm supposed to be calling my mechanic about the fact that my blinkers don't work. so yay!!! i'm remembering at a time when it's actually convenient for once. LOL

Oh man, the time when my rear light went out on my car was the worst. I was constantly terrified of getting pulled over for it, but could never actually remember to do anything about it. It felt so, so good to finally change it out. Also, I felt badass for actually doing it myself.

good for you!!! i always feel pretty badass myself, when i do things like that by myself. :D

and oh my goodness! today, my blinkers were working again! i was actually mad! LOL i'm like NO! i need you FIXED so you need to be NOT WORKING for the mechanic! xD

Ha ha, I know the feeling. Honestly the things that only work sometimes is almost worse. My car's inside light has been randomly not coming on and I think it actually worries me more than if it just stopped altogether.

the good news is, this morning, the blinkers stopped working again. now if they'll only stay that way until AFTER the mechanic has a chance to check it out. xP
