I bucked up the nerve and asked Maria if she had any plans on friday, and that I'd like to take her to a movie. I was expecting either a simple yes, or a simple rejection (she is the nicest person I have ever met). What I wasn't expecting was her to say that she wasn't sure about her schedule and she'd have to get back to me about it. Apparently she has something saturday that she may or may not have prepare for or something. She had something right there in her planner, so I know it wasn't just a nice way to blow me off, but having to wait until the next time I see her, which is going to be wednesday, is so much worse either way. Well, not terribly bad, but I expected an answer in some form, and now I must wait. It's the waiting that gets me every time. *waits and hopes she can go, and more importantly, wants to*
